Canine Good Citizenship Class – Class Starting February 20, 2021 at 10:00 am

Canine Good Citizenship also known as CGC, is a 5 class course which emphasizes good behavior in social and community settings.  This AKC program is a great foundation for any canine’s training.  In this bonding experience with your dog they will learn to socialize with other people, pets, and even work on adjusting to daily routines.  This certificate program is widely recognized and even required by some living communities.  The official CGC tagline is “Responsible owners, well-mannered dogs”, which is expected now more than ever.  Upon successful completion of this class you and your dog will master the 10 Class Objective and receive you AKC approved CGC Certification.

  3. Appearance and Grooming
  4. Out for a Walk
  5. Walking Through a Crowd
  6. Sit and Down / Staying in Place
  7. Coming When Called
  8. Reaction to Another Dog
  9. Reaction to Distractions
  10. Supervised Separation
